Introduction Days winter semester 2026/27 - 05 to 09 October, 2026

For a good start to their studies, students should attend the introductory days at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. During this week, first-year students receive important information for a successful start to their studies. You will get detailed insights into the study process, get to know the university campus and can make contact with fellow students. In addition, lecturers and students from the Bachelor's and Master's programmes will answer all your questions about studying.

The introductory days in the winter semester 2026/27 will take place from 05 - 09 October 2026 and are aimed at Bachelor's and Master's students. The final programme will be published on this website from the mid-September. The University's Enrollment Ceremony will take place this year on 05 October 2026.

The Campus Welcome Center is the central point of contact for all questions about studying. In addition, the team of the General Student Advisory Service will be happy to help you with all questions regarding the start of your studies.
