EU4Health

EU4Health is the fourth health programme of the European Union. With €5.3 billion, it is the European Union's largest health funding programme to date. To implement EU4Health, the Logo NKS EU4HealthEU Member States are to set up National Contact Points. The National Contact Point in Germany is commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Health (BMG).

The programme's objectives are to...

  1. Improve and promote health in the EU
  2. Protect people
  3. Access to medicines, medical devices and crisis-related products
  4. Strengthen health systems

 

Grants are published in the form of "Calls for Proposals" on the Funding & Tenders portal.

The funding measures already published cover the following prevention areas:

  • Prevention of NCDs - cardiovascular disease, diabetes and other NCDs (deadline 28 February 2023)
  • Prevention of cancer and other non-communicable diseases - health determinants interventions (deadline 28 February 2023)
  • Support the launch of the second cohort of the interspecialised training programme for cancer (Deadline 28 February 2023)
  • Support structured dialogue at national or regional level on public procurement in the health sector (Deadline 21 February 2023)
