Arriving, orienting, networking - for a successful start in Magdeburg, we warmly invite international students to the International Welcome Weeks from March 24 to April 5, 2025. Together we would like to discover the university and the city, make initial contacts and make it easier for you to start your studies. The program offers support with organizational questions, orientation on campus and many opportunities to talk to other students.

For the International Welcome Weeks, the International Office, the Intercultural Students IKUS and the Student Services organize a wide range of events. At information events, you will learn everything you need to know about your first steps at the University of Magdeburg - from registration and study organization to practical topics such as finding accommodation. The language courses and consultation hours will help you find your feet quickly.
Campus tours and guided tours of the library offer the opportunity to get to know the University of Magdeburg better - city and pub tours show how diverse Magdeburg is. There will also be plenty of opportunities to get to know new people: games evenings, barbecues and an excursion to Berlin.
The International Welcome Weeks make it easier to start the new phase of your life and help you to start your studies well informed.
