University Library and Campus Service Center will open again
As of May 4, 2020, Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg will again open the Campus Service Center and University Library to its students. In compliance with the Containment Ordinance of the State of Saxony-Anhalt as well as the hygiene measures issued by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the face-to-face service cannot offered completely.
Consultation hours Campus Service Centers
The services offered by the Campus Service Center provide personal consultation hours as follows:

Opening hours of University Library
The University Library is open Monday - Friday from 08:00 a.m. - 05:00 p.m.
For the moment, the user area can be opened to a maximum of 100 users simultaneously. In order not to exceed the limited number of persons, entering and leaving the building is monitored electronically via the user cards. In addition, a possible chain of infection can tracked via this registration system. Here we are obliged to provide information to the public health department if necessary.

In addition to the on-location service, the existing contactless services such as digital campus delivery service, semester apparatus and campus standards delivery service CaNoLi, interlibrary loan "Covid-19 Emergency Operation" (no books) and e-book orders can still be used further on.

Hygiene requirements
We ask you to observe the following hygiene requirements:
Wearing a mouth-nose protection is generally obligatory for both buildings. In the University Library, you can waive the mouth-nose protection while working at the individual reading/workstations. In addition, a minimum distance of 1.5 metres must be maintained between persons.
The University of Magdeburg has also established additional hygiene standards for both buildings in order to reduce the risk of infection as much as possible.
Taking into account the development of the corona pandemic, we will adapt our local service in accordance with the applicable containment ordinance of the state of Saxony-Anhalt.
