GRIAT

German-Russian Institute of Advanced Technologies (GRIAT) is a project that was launched in 2014. GRIAT is supported by the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) and the Republic of Tatarstan and is designed for students in engineering who study at KNRTU-KAI or at a German Partner University. The programme offers a highly qualified education according to the most advanced German and Russian education standards. The students get the opportunity to obtain a double degree, as well as excellent opportunities for joint research projects.

The KNRTU-KAI, named after the famous aerospace engineer Russian A.N. Tupolev, was established in 1932 and is among the top Russian research Universities.

In cooperation with the universities TU Ilmenau and Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg the following master programmes are offered at KNRTU-KAI:

  1. Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology
  2. Master of Science in Chemical and Energy Engineering
  3. Master of Science in Systems Engineering and Engineering Cybernetics
  4. Master of Science in Research in Computer and Systems Engineering
  5. Master of Science in Communications and Signal Processing
  6. Master of Science in Automotive Engineering
