Entry requirements:
The requirement for admission is a good or very good Bachelor degree or diploma or a master's degree or a degree completed with a State examination in a course closely related to computer science, a closely computer science related discipline or an engineering-related field of study. The standard duration of the preceding Bachelor's degree program must be at least 6 semesters or cover 180 ICTS credits. Furthermore, sufficient knowledge of the English or German language at a level of university entrance qualification is required. International applicants either need the DSH-2 or TestDaF with a 4/4/4/4 grading or TOEFL (with the following minimum scores: paper-based 527 or computer-based 197 or internet based 71) or the IELTS (overall score of 6.0 or higher) or the CAE (Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English) with at least "B" or the CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in
English) with at least grade "C".

The master program Digital Engineering aims at domestic and international students with a bachelor's degree from a scientific engineering area or computer science. The program provides extensive knowledge for the development, design and operation of complex, technical products and systems like the currently used systems in production technology or the automotive industry. The education qualifies graduates for challenging activities and leadership roles in planning and execution of projects using modern IT solutions such as virtual and augmented reality in application areas in engineering sciences and in the field of industrial, and industry-related as well as academic research. The predominant practical content of the program is conducted in collaboration with the engineering departments and partners of industry-related research.
